Romi Emirat obtained his Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Laws) degree from the University of Indonesia, Jakarta in 2001, and his Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Queensland in 2017.

Before joining S&T in 2008, Romi worked with a prominent law firm in Jakarta.

Romi is a licensed Advocate and member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). He is also a licensed Intellectual Property Consultant.

Romi’s main areas of practice include litigation, arbitration, alternative dispute resolution, competition disputes, and company liquidation. Romi has been particularly adept at handling land issues and mediating land procurement disputes.
